In November, the total capacity of photovoltaic inverters tendered and won by state-owned enterprises was 73.23 GW.
This month, there are two large orders for centralized procurement of inverters:
On November 13th, China Power Construction announced that the 2025 photovoltaic inverter framework has been shortlisted for centralized procurement, consisting of 4 sections with a total procurement capacity of 51GW.
On November 20th, CGN New Energy released the bidding announcement for the centralized procurement of photovoltaic inverter equipment framework in 2025, with a procurement capacity of up to 10.5GW.
According to public information statistics, the rated capacity of photovoltaic inverters from January to November was 197.08GW.
Through analysis, it was found that the bidding market for photovoltaic inverters in the November central state-owned enterprise bidding showed the following trends and characteristics:

5. In terms of winning bidders, 48 companies including Huawei, Huashi Installation, TBEA, Sunshine Power Supply, Shuangjie Electric, Shouhang New Energy, Shangneng Electric, Guizhou Changtong, China Power Construction, and Zhuzhou Converter won the bid.
6. The highest priced bidding project is the centralized inverter complete equipment renovation and procurement project of CGN New Energy Technology Company. This project purchases centralized inverters with a capacity of 12MW. As the winning bidder, Shangneng Electric offered a bid price of 2.272 million yuan, equivalent to a unit price of 0.189 yuan/W.

There are 57 central enterprise procurement projects (sections) with a total capacity of 5.97GW, accounting for 82.97% of the total capacity.
In terms of procurement enterprises, 10 central enterprises, including Powerchina, middling coal Group, COFCO Group, State Power Investment Corporation, China Southern Power Grid, China Nuclear Power, China Railway Construction Corporation, China Guangdong Nuclear Power, National Energy Group, middling coal Science and Engineering, have all awarded inverter procurement projects.
Among them, China Electric Power Construction had 29 projects rated in November, with a confirmed capacity of 2089MW. 19 companies including Huawei, Shangneng Electric, Zhuzhou Converter, Kehua Data, Sunshine Power, Gudewei, Jinlang Technology, and Shouhang New Energy became the final winning bidders.

On November 12th, the winning bidder for the first batch of inverter framework procurement projects for the 2024 market-oriented project of Shanghai Electric Power Investment Complete Equipment Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of State Power Investment Corporation, was determined. The project is divided into two packages and 12 sections, with a total procurement capacity of 400MW.
