Li Chuangjun, Director of the New Energy and Renewable Energy Department of the National Energy Administration, said at a press conference of the State Council Information Office today that currently, the competition in China's photovoltaic industry is indeed very fierce. In order to guide the healthy development of the industry, we will take the following measures: firstly, we need to consolidate the new installed capacity market of domestic photovoltaic power generation. We will adhere to both centralized and distributed development, and on the one hand, we will strengthen the construction of large-scale wind and photovoltaic bases with a focus on deserts, Gobi, and desert areas; On the other hand, we will prudently implement the "Thousand Household Mu Guang Action" and vigorously develop distributed photovoltaic power generation. At the same time, we need to accelerate the construction of new energy infrastructure networks and improve the grid's ability to accept, allocate, and regulate new energy generation, including photovoltaics. Secondly, we will strengthen coordination among multiple departments and standardize the order of the photovoltaic power generation industry. We will organize industry associations with relevant departments to timely release information on industry scale, capacity utilization rate, and market demand, reasonably guide the construction and release of upstream photovoltaic capacity, avoid redundant construction of low-end capacity, and strive to create a good market environment. Finally, we need to continue to enhance our innovation capabilities in photovoltaic technology. We will continue to strengthen the construction of the photovoltaic industry standard system in conjunction with relevant departments, enhance the guidance of standard innovation, and promote the healthy development of the industry.
